Amen Igbinosun
Born in Benin City, Nigeria, and raised in the U.S., Amen Igbinosun is an actor, educator, and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans theater, television, film, voiceover, video games, and virtual reality. He is honored to make his La MaMa debut—a full-circle moment, having once volunteered here during the Theatre Without Borders Conference in his undergraduate years.
A graduate of The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theatre School Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, Amen has built a dynamic career across multiple mediums. His theater credits include Lily’s Revenge at the A.R.T., Bintou with The Movement Theatre Company, and multiple national tours performing theater for young audiences. He is deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Dmitry Krymov on this production.
On screen, he has appeared in the feature film Distant Tales, the hit YouTube series Poz Roz, and TV projects like The Last Ship (TNT) and Texas Rising (History Channel). He has also developed an extensive career in voiceovers, video games, commercials, and virtual reality, continuing to push boundaries as a versatile storyteller.
He gives thanks to God, his Dad (may his soul rest in peace), his Mom, his family, and the ancestors who paved the way.
