We invite you to support Krymov Lab NYC’s vision for the future.

Dmitry Krymov creates theatre like no other. He built an artistic home in Russia to incubate rich, impactful work that captured the imaginations of audiences around the world— until his vocal opposition to the war in Ukraine prompted officials to strip him of his awards and cancel his productions. Dima left Russia to make his home and work here in the United States, and has assembled a group of top-notch producers, actors, and designers who believe in the power of his art.
As part of our residency at the iconic La MaMa ETC, Krymov Lab NYC’s inaugural repertory, Big Trip, was greeted with rave reviews and standing room only crowds. It led to a sold-out remount of our show Pushkin “Eugene Onegin” in our own words at Under the Radar festival just a few months later.
Dima and the Lab are hard at work on their next show, which we hope to share with audiences in 2025. And beyond that? The sky’s the limit!
We are deeply grateful to everyone who made our first steps possible, and we know that support from lovers of independent and groundbreaking theater will help us leap much further. We hope you’ll consider being a part of our next steps as we build a stable home for Krymov and his radically inventive theater in New York City.
