John Lipsky is a Senior Fellow of the Foreign Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He also serves as the cochair of the Aspen Institute's Program on the World Economy, and is the vice-chair of the Center for Global Development and of the Bretton Woods Committee. He is a member of the advisory boards of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) and of the Rock Creek Group. In addition, Mr. Lipsky is a director of the American Council on Germany, and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He received a PhD in economics from Stanford University.
